My Wall, Say hi!

I propose that Sunday 27 July 2008 be our first group sponsored Make a Difference Day. Devote a portion of your day to doing something positive, making a difference.

Ideas to include:

Internet-click all daily actions available or known to you, Care2, Ecology Fund with its satelite site, Ecotonaha, etc. sign at least 10 petitions,  revitilize some of your lesser active groups by posting, send someone an e-card telling them you care!

Outdoors-Clean up a blighted area picking up unsightly trash, husband an overgrowth area by clearing some brush or thinning some excessive saplings, plant some seeds preferrably native plants, If careful, replant some small plants to an area in need.

Animalisms-Provide your pets with a special treat, can even extend over to your neighbor's pets, provide some feed and water for the birds in your neighborhood, visit an animal shelter and adopt one if you are in the market for a new pet, donate food, time, or money to a shelter or elderly person who owns a pet.

People-reach out and touch someone you haven't talked to in some time, telling them that you care.

Lastly, send out some positive energy at 7PM in your time zone! Add to a pocket of energy the earth will pass through providing those in need with hope for the future!

Let's make this a success and a monthly activity! Take appropriate pictures and post them to our thread or let us know what you did and how it made you feel!

As we heal that around us, we are healing ourselves!
