| Why do we celebrate Tu be Shevat? On 15 Day of the month of Shevat is the New Year celebration of the trees. It goes back to the agricultural calendar in ancient Israel. Every year for the fruits of the trees had the tithe will be given. The 15th Shevat marked the end of a financial year. Because it almost to the end of the rainy season is when the sap rises in trees and are beginning to fruit shape, this represents a natural border between the fruits that were harvested last year and those that are harvested in the following year. Fruits, after 15 bloom of the month must, for the year, on 15 has begun to tithe. |

| Warum feiern wir Tu be Schewat? |
