Imaginez : étudiante en classe préparatoire littéraire, songez au nombre de pages que je dois utiliser, entre les cours, les fiches, les devoirs... Que faire pour compenser tout cela ? L'hebdomadaire britannique The Economist m'a donné la solution : pour me remercier de mon abonnement, il m'a offert un arbre sur Tree-Nation. Depuis, je l'arrose quotidiennement, ainsi que les arbres d'autres personnes de la communauté. Il m'en a déjà donné quatre autres, et j'en ai offert à deux personnes de mon entourage. Puis je me suis lancée, et j'ai créé ma propre forêt, en l'honneur de J.R.R. Tolkien. En moins d'une semaine 26 arbres y ont été plantés ! C'est bien la preuve que l'union fait la force, et qu'en joignant nos efforts nous pouvons réellement avoir une influence positive sur le monde. Repensons donc à ce que disait John Lennon, dans Imagine : "You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one"

What is better than owning a tree is owning two, three,... many trees! We are giving earth the best gift and this is all thanks to Tree-Nation. Congratulations on this great job!

Tree-Nation is obvsiouly a great idea being implemented in an open environment: anyone is invited contribute, anyone can obtain information and discuss - anyone can trigger action! Es una idea estupenda, una muy buena iniciativa... Ahora bien, yo creo que lo más importante es que esos árboles plantados lleguen a la edad adulta y vivan muchos años... ¡Sigan así con su magnífico proyecto!

I have a good relationship to trees as i grow up surrounded by them quite undisturbed in the country side in the late sixties . Every single tree has its own scent ,  sound  and charismatic circle. In fact one tree is like a  hotel in providing homes for animals and plants and as I've realized later in my life for many other uses as  for medical and environmental purposes, particularly in cities to compensate polluting impacts. In a wider sense our live is based on the use of plants and we depend  a 1000% on them with the blessing of the sun which is the ultimate wonder of all creations on  earth. I'm grateful for this campaign against the run of deforestation. Keep up the brilliant work!

A peine deux mois que je suis dans cete communauté et j'ai déjà gagné 3 arbres, en ai planté 2, reçu 1 en cadeau d'un ami ! J'arrose aussi souvent que je peux (presque tous les jours) les arbres de mes 14 amis et je suis devenue complètement "accro" à Tree Nation. J'en parle autour de moi en toutes occasions et j'espère sincèrement que notre belle forêt en forme de coeur prouvera un jour aux critiques et aux pessimistes que "A tous, on peut tout". Merci Tree Nation !

No sabia que los arboles se podian regar y asi contribuir para que se planten otros. Esplendida idea y ademas muy sencilla. Le regale dos arboles a mi hijo y a veces mis nietas me preguntan como estan. Les voy a decir que los pueden regar y de este modo contribuir ellas mismas a que se planten mas. A ver si entre todos llenamos el corazon verde.
