NOTE:  Alhtough this Group's main focus is the  Rowan Tree,  I would love to discuss, learn about, and post information re:  ANY / ALL TREES!!! . . . So, please feel free to do so!   : )

Now,  RE:  The  Rowan Tree  (also known as the Mountain Ash;  Latin Name: Sorbus aucuparia;  Gaelic: Caorthann),  is of the Family:  Rosaceaeis . . . It is found in Britain, Ireland, North Africa, Asia Minor and Europe (incl. my homeland of Yugoslavia ~ Croatia, Serbia, etc).

I chose the  Rowan  because it is my  Birth Tree  (April 1 to April 10) . . . It is known as  "The Sensitivity"  and it's attributes include:  Being full of charm, cheerful, gifted, without egoism, likes to draw attention, loves life, motion, unrest and even complications, is both dependent and independent, good taste, artistic, passionate, emotional, good company, does not forgive . . . Hmm, quite a complicated little Tree, eh?!  ; )
