PLANTS KEEP YOU HEALTHIER AND THE AIR CLEANER!
"Greenifying" our rooftops is something that each and every one of us can do: starting at home. One lush green rooftop, means 50 people that see it and decide to plant their own. Either for environmental reasons (to counter global warming, clear the air, etc) or simply out of pure jealousy! There is no doubt that a healthy, blossoming garden in which birds sing and flowers grow, awakens envy in all of us.
This group provides you the opportunity to debate the success / effectiveness / practicality of green roofs with your fellow members and share ideas amongst yourselves. In the meantime, get those fingertips green and invest in some houseplants! Plants in the home keep you healthier and the air cleaner! Green roofs, or eco-roofs as they are sometimes known, are rapidly becoming the newest trend adopted by city businesses around the world. In the United States, Ford's Rouge Centre, designed by expert green architect Bill McDonough, is home to the world's largest green roof. Wal-Mart and Apple stores, amongst others, have caught on to the eco-roof trend that is becoming increasingly popular in city projects and planning.
