Sorry if this is the same tree in an earlier post.  As part of a day tour from the hotel in Magoebaskloof, South Africa, we stopped to visit this tree.  There is acutally a small bar built inside the tree.

I was in South AFrica last year in March and was amazed when I saw lots and lots of Baobab trees. I felt in love. We went to see one of the biggest ones. Fantastic!!! A picture of it. How lucky I am to have been able to see them! They are just amazing!

This big baobab can be found in Tanzania, East Africa near the small town of Mbuyu wa Ujerumani along the road from Arusha to Katesh in the Manyara region. Numerous baobabs dot the landscape, though several are being cut down to make room for an improved road! see image below.
