I am really happy to report that there is now an official Colombia project in Tree-Nation, called La Pedregoza. Just click on the <<Projects>> button above and you will see it. There will be more and more tree species listed over the coming weeks, as well as a ton of information about the plantations. The La Pedregoza project plants plantation hardwood trees, because it is better if people use plantation wood rather than rain forest trees for their needs, and because they are very efficient at carbon sequestration from the atmosphere. They also plant native tree species at La Pedregoza, which is really important for biodiversity, expanded wildlife habitat and for carbon capture. So please go and check it out.
