Here is a good tip i found that can actually help you reduce your electricity bill!

" When we iron on a regular ironing board we are only effectively ironing on one side. Inserting a few sheets of aluminum foil in between the ironing board and the board cover will reflect the heat of the iron and Voila! You are now ironing from both sides, meaning you iron quicker and therefore use less electricity."

Voila!

It is always tempting to take the car to make small kilometers separating us from the bakery or school children. An easy option. Yet if we are motivated to make the effort, we finally realized that this distance is nothing at all and that cycling and walking, it's fun!

Transportation is the black devil of the environment. Our habits are well entrenched and it is time and it is more than necessary to remove some of the behaviors inherited opulence energy.
An important step is to reduce car use. Book the car for big trips, or where it can not be replaced by other means of transport. Not less than 44% of kilometers traveled in Switzerland  for example are for leisure. Then travel to work, with 24% of distance traveled and ... shopping, 12%.

When one takes the time to think about it, we see that a number of trips could be made on foot or bicycle instead of driving. This is often the first step that costs.

Take the time to rediscover his world. Walking is not only safer but also more exciting. If you are in town, raise your eyes and rediscover the architecture around us, or let you lead with a little music. Slow down the pace and enjoy.

very true poucinette

check this out guys:

The lift is a means of transport most used every day. A vertical mobility makes us lazy, we softens, making noise and consuming mostly between 2 and 4% of the energy of a building according to the height of it.  At startup, an elevator has an intensity equivalent to 800 light bulbs of 100 watts (400 amps). I suggest you avoid the elevator and stairs to rediscover unless you live on the 10th floor

thanks for the tips!

Washing, detergents and other cleaning products that wash whiter than white is not quite immaculate ... Clean our dirty planet without using environmentally friendly products! Better for our environment, our health and fish, they are equally effective.

These are swiss link, but i think that this kind of product can be found everywhere
