Please help us out in completing this list:

 * Reduce waste – consider the environment before printing!! print double sided, and re-use paper as scrap paper before throwing it out
 * Bring lunch to work rather than buying takeaway dishes
 * Ask the the IT guy of your company to setup every computer to hibernate after 10 minutes with no use.
 * Remove all plastic cups from your waterfountain. Ask your employees to bring their own mug (or provide them).
 * Stop sending your bills by post. Just send them by email. It's quicker and much cheaper. Your client can always print them if needed.

It's as simple as this to start acting for our planet and make a HUGE difference. It’s all in our hands so lets keep the ball rolling!

What else do you propose?

Bring your own mug and do not use plastic coffee cups

Encourage e-reading among the employees. Create digital libraries and gradually reduce the purchase of printed books.

Take the pain of finding out the professional e-waste handlers and dispose the e-wastes responsibly.

As much as possible, extend the life time of the computers by upgrading them instead of disposing and buying new ones.

More to come.

be green on the way to work:  take your own mug to the coffee house for a cup of java.

Simply, recycle your pop cans, bottles, paper, card-board, hard and soft plastics and your office space will be more eco-friendly.

Make it a policy to purchase office supplies and furniture made from recycled materials.

To cut back on paper usage and deforestation from paper manufacturing, use recycled paper in your office (it's only a small percentage higher in cost than standard paper) and print double-sided copies.  Also, when you print single-sided documents that are not confidential or urgent, you can reuse the back side of the paper for draft projects or scrap paper for taking phone messages.

I always set up my computer to hibernate when not used for 30 minutes! Perhaps it´s logical for you but a lot of people don´t even think to do this!!!
