Pollution from cars and other means of transportation is very harmful for the environment, and therefore it appears essential to consider other and more ecological friendly means of transportation.
Taking the bike is a great alternative, and if the distance is longer e.g. the Segway is a great alternative as it can go 38 km on a single battery charge. It is a two-wheeled, self-balancing transportation and it's much cleaner for the environment, quieter and smaller than cars, scooters and motorcycles.
The metro is another great substitute for the car. It means less fuel burnt, reduction of pollutants and greenhouse gas and of course less cars on the road. In all larger cities it's much quicker to travel in metro and avoiding rush hour on the roads, and furthermore it's cheaper. Walking is the most eco-friendly means of transportation, however often we need to go for a long way - so what kind of transportation should we use?
